Trauma and PTSD

Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) used to be considered a lifelong condition that you had to learn to "manage" instead of overcome. Not anymore! PTSD is highly treatable if you use first-line, evidence-based therapies that help you process your thoughts and feelings about past traumas and work through the negative impact trauma has on your present-day life.

I have seen firsthand how recovery is possible, no matter how many traumatic experiences you have endured or how long it has been since they happened. For the last decade I have worked with survivors of a wide range of traumas, including childhood physical and sexual abuse, combat trauma, sexual assaults, traumas unique to law enforcement, and natural disasters such as fires.

I offer gold-standard, evidence-based treatments for PTSD, such as Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy. These active, structured treatments provide a method to help you reduce the symptoms of PTSD, learn skills to effectively recognize and manage symptoms if they arise, and enhance your overall quality of life.

If you are struggling with symptoms of PTSD, do not wait any longer to get help—call or email me to take control of your recovery today.
